Love/hate the nvgs.
Bad: Can't see shit most of the time.
Good: Remove the scopes from the gpmg and use the vector to aquire targets at range then just blat away. At close range straight iron sights and blat.the.fuck.away. :)

I agree. That would be the best course of action (using a spotter for that GPMG). At least if you want to do accurate fire.

Just a quick one on this - I know this new version is more "realistic" but it makes operating at night absolute cancer. Can't see shit, whereas the AI has no such issue and can seemingly still see perfectly.

For example on Sunday we were at a high point and took fire through some bushes (standard AI seeing a small bit of cloth), the AI could see us, but we couldnt see it, not even muzzle flash. Also same mission Pana and I went into a warehouse, there was an AI in the far corner, couldn't see him until I was over halfway down the building

Could we test reducing the noice by about 50% -
i know this may be realistic but we're here to have fun and when balancing for realism ruins the fun its redundant

I actually was fine last night ... before the weather changed, I needed to hold right mouse click ( zoom in ) to be able to see and I liked it.
After the weather I was beter off staying in NVG's then removing it. Even inside the camp
